Virgil Allen Joins The Stanford Who's Who Family

Virgil Allen has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his outstanding effort in the community.

    LANSDOWNE, VA, October 8, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Virgil Allen has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his outstanding effort in the community. As Director of Planned Giving with Prison Fellowship Ministries, as well as throughout his brilliant career, Mr. Allen has routinely displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Established in 1976, Prison Fellowship is a national, nonprofit organization with a mission to seek the transformation of prisoners and their reconciliation to God, family, and community through the power and truth of Jesus Christ. In order to accomplish their mission, Prison Fellowship has created a holistic model called Transformational Ministry, which draws upon a number of coordinated and complementary programs and services. Their key method in accomplishing this mission is equipping and empowering local churches and volunteers to reach out to prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families with the love and hope of Christ.

Mr. Allen is a reformed Lawyer who possesses extensive expertise in helping people with state planning. During his collegiate career, he earned a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University. Virgil also serves as a volunteer with the Special Olympics. In the time away from his busy schedule, he greatly enjoys golfing.
