Mike Dallas has been selected as a Professional of the Year in Education for 2011-2012
ROCKWALL, TX, September 06, 2011 /Religion PR News/ -- Mike Dallas, M.Ed., M.A. in Christian Leadership, and Retired Teacher from Windham School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
Mr. Dallas, who amassed more than three decades of professional experience, taught mathematics and life skills classes in the Windham School District. Known for his expertise in mathematics, he became a teacher because he was moved to do so by his religious faith. He served as a football coach during his teaching career, and also owned an insurance agency for more than 20 years.
He is a member of the Christian Marriage Ministry, Matador Society, Texas Tech Alumni Association and Texas Retired Teachers Association, and a Red Raider Club Endowed Scholarship Donor. Mr. Dallas holds a Bachelor of Science in physical education and a Master of Education from Texas Tech University. He became an ordained minister at Ridgeview Church in 1998 and the following year graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Arts in Christian leadership from Criswell College. He has been honored by the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation, and attributes his success to his diligence, persistence and patience.
Mr. Dallas is a direct descendant of George Mifflin Dallas, who served the United States as vice president under James Polk. The county of Dallas, Texas, was named after him. Mr. Dallas enjoys researching apologetics in his spare time, and also volunteers as a prison chaplain. In addition, he has an online presence as a conservative blogger. A natural educator, he hopes to offer consultative services in the near future.
