Kathy Nelson brings 12 years of experience to Lancaster Theological Seminary
LANCASTER, PA, June 1, 2011 /Religion PR News/ -- Kathy Harvey Nelson, Coordinator for Lancaster Theological Seminary, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in continuing education.
Prompted by the belief that people should have opportunities to improve themselves at any age, Ms. Nelson decided to devote her career to continuing education. She brings 12 years of experience to Lancaster Theological Seminary, where she is charged primarily with organizing continuing education programs for clergy, laity and students. She is also responsible for conducting religious services, events and programs, teaching Bible courses, counseling, and performing pastoral duties. Ms. Nelson derives deep personal satisfaction from helping others grow and develop, and attributes her success to her ability to work well with people

Ms. Nelson received a Master of Divinity in 2003 from Lancaster Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in therapeutic recreation in 1978 from York College of Pennsylvania. A certified spiritual director, she is affiliated with Spiritual Directors International. She was inducted into Cambridge Who's Who as a VIP member in 2009.
