Washington to the distinguished ranks of leading professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in education. As a Special Education Resource Teacher with the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board, as well as throughout her brilliant professional career, Paulene has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
The Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board is the governing body for Catholic education from kindergarten to 12th grade in Simcoe County and the District of Muskoka. They are a faith-filled Catholic learning community dedicated to excellence and focused on enhancing the educational and spiritual development of students. The district consists of 53 schools, more than 21,000 students and 3,000 employees.
Paulene is a Math and Science Specialist in Special Education who is qualified to teach intermediate science and math. During her collegiate career, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Dillard University, graduating with Honors. Paulene also earned a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Western Ontario. She is a member of the Science Teacher Association of Ontario and a Council Member of the Mathematics Association for Cottage Country.
